Simply replacing the hand wheels on a geared head, transforms a standard camera unit into a sophisticated, yet easy to use, motion control system.

RevolveR gives the operator a wide range of gear ratios, from 99:1 down, to 1:30 up, in 0.1 steps, with soft and hard limits on pan and tilt. This is not just another mimic head. It provides true motion control capability, equalling and in some respects exceeding that of much larger and more expensive systems.

Motion control capabilities extend to eight axes of movement, with transparent interfacing to Preston lens systems.

RevolveR design concept is to make motion control as user friendly and affordable as possible. The intention is to bring motion control into the realms of traditional live action photography. No hybrid equipment or motion control operator is required. Standard "off the shelf" camera packages can be utilised without any modification.

RevolveR is currently compatible with ARRI heads 1 and 2. Special encoded heads are NOT required. The sophisticated servo control of RevolveR ensures accurate repeatability of moves in all motion control applications with any standard, maintained head. Most importantly, the head feels as good as the best-maintained mechanical head, with none of the traditional "servo-lag" of other systems.

RevolveR runs from a 12V DC supply (see specifications page), so batteries used in any standard camera package will power the RevolveR. The whole system fits into one flight case about the size of a prime lens box.
